TRAVEL is the theme of the exhibition. It is a narrative about the journey and path. The moment when curiosity drives us to travel. The robust women depicted in the sculptures explore unknown structures and places as if it were the first time. The first time they engage with the world, and even the first time the world reflects back on them. A committed gaze inward and outward that mirrors a desire to live. These sculptures, made of ceramic stoneware, convey sensuality despite the solid appearance of the female body. There is harmony in the form and a relaxed sense of humor in each posture. An alliance between ceramics, illustration, painting, and the issues surrounding the dichotomy of public and private space.
